When a family has concerns about their child, often the first place they turn to is KidsAbility and the same is true for professionals, organizations and businesses looking to make our community a more inclusive place. KidsAbility can help your organization and staff through consultative services that will help your team to better support children in your care. Through resources, training and support, no other organization in our community has over 60 years of experience in providing the breadth of therapy and services for children and youth with physical, communication or developmental challenges—regardless if they have a diagnosis or not. KidsAbility’s team works with you to identify the goals that are important to you and then, together, develop a plan of action to make these goals possible—always with the family and child at the centre. Whether it is physio, occupational, speech and recreation therapy, behavioural supports or kinesiology, KidsAbility’s team is here to help. Every child deserves the opportunity to participate fully in a way that is meaningful to them at home, at school, at work and in the community. We will work with you to give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to help make this possible.
